Teaching in Virginia Beach, Ven. Chuc Thanh said to the sangha “Bad used in a good way becomes good. There is actually no good or bad decision. There are only wise and unwise decisions with good or bad outcomes.”
The practice of Buddhism challenges us to consider things from different perspectives. Think about how you make a decision. Do you ever set out to make a “bad” decision? Can you think of a time when you believed you made a really good decision only to be surprised or disappointed in the result? How is “wisdom” defined within the scope of the Buddha’s teachings?
