Our venerable monks use references to the many forms of water often as ways to demonstrate how the teachings of the Buddha apply to our daily lives. Try thinking about the properties of water, or bodies of water, and how they may serve as examples of the Buddha’s teachings regarding impermanence, equanimity, calm, suffering or non-self.
