Dong Hung Temple invites you to our Vesak Day (Buddha’s Birthday Celebration). This is a joint occasion that includes the English-speaking and Vietnamese communities for this special day. Most of the ceremonies are in Vietnamese. Come to some of the events or come to all.

Dong Hung Temple offers refuge-taking ceremonies to all who wish to make a public declaration of commitment to the Buddhist Way. 

Refuge Taking Ceremony is at 2 PM

10:45 am The Main Ceremony
12:30 pm Offering to the Sangha Ceremony (Lunch)
2:00 pm Taking Refuge Ceremony
3:00 pm Offering to the Hungry Ghost ceremony
