
“Meditation for Peace and Well-being”
Greetings, Peace seekers,
On October 11th, from 10 am to 11 am, Doing Hung Temple is resuming its pre-COVID tradition of hosting a monthly meditation for the purpose of cultivating and radiating a mindset of well-being and peace.
Everyone is welcome to join in.
The meditations will last one hour and will include the following;
*They will begin with about 10 minutes of guided meditation, setting an intentional atmosphere of peace and thoughts of well-being for all.
*This will be followed by 20 minutes of silent sitting and 10 minutes of walking meditation.
*They will conclude with another 20 minutes of silent sitting.
*Bells will be rung to mark the timing, but you are free to vary this pattern as you wish.
We hope to see many of you join us to help strengthen or awaken the energy of peace, both within ourselves and throughout the world.
When: Saturday, October 11, 2025
(Then consecutive second Saturdays of each month thereafter)
Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Where: Dong Hung Buddhist Temple’s Buddha Hall,
or outside, weather permitting.

Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a cushion for comfort if you wish. We also encourage all to invite family and friends to this special gathering. Let’s create a solid center of peace to share with others and to guide us back into the everyday world.
