At a service in Virginia Beach in January 2016, Chuc Thanh said: “The most important aspect of Buddhism is practice.” At a service in June 2016, he provided another view of practicing Buddhism when he told us “The practice of Buddhism is not getting. It is letting go. Peace, nirvana are the result of letting go.”
What does the practice of Buddhism look like in your daily life? How do you apply the concept of equanimity (letting go)? Does practicing Buddhism fit in to the American culture or “chasing the American dream?”
