Teaching in Virginia Beach in June, 2016, Ven. Chuc Thanh told the sangha that “Mindfulness is not enough. ‘Kindfulness’, doing something kind and compassionate, is just as important as mindfulness.”
Today, it seems the concept of mindfulness is discussed and “implemented” everywhere, from corporate management workshops to elementary school classrooms. Mindfulness is also an integral part of the practice of Buddhism. How does this quote from Thay Thanh relate to your daily practice? Do you agree with his perception?
